Quality assurance and accreditation process

Any university which applies for a CMI accreditation is required to submit an application file accounting in accordance with the CMI baseline. The first criterion evaluated is the quality of the available research support. Then the university application is assessed by experts including a site visit.

An accreditation committee is in charge of approval or recommendations if the application requires some modifications to match the baseline.

Accreditation is granted for 5 years.

In order to ensure compliance with the CMI baseline, a follow up of each new CMI is carried out after 2 years based on a record file and a site visit. Recommendations are made by the accreditation committee if needed.
